vista 5308 installation s

I've been having trouble installing Build 5308 also. My problem is that I can't get the the installation to get past the "Starting installation..." screen during bootup, but this only happens when I'm booting from the DVD at startup... When I do the installation in Windows, it works fine up to the point where the computer must restart itself and start installing files from outside windows again. Either way, I have not been able to successfully install this build yet. I've tried both the upgrading and the clean install, both did not work. Anybody have any suggesions on how to get this build installed? I've already reformatted and tried ontop of a clean XP install, and just to make sure it wasn't a defective DVD, i went out and bought higher quality blank DVD's and burned it again. Same thing is happening. Anybody have suggestions??

Search for the file setupact.log and open it. Let us know if there's any error in that file.
